After what had occurred during that so-called trial of sorts, the blond been thinking of the true purpose as to why they were here. Truthfully, at first  he had thought that yes, perhaps, the only reason they were here was due to murdering each other and Miata had been purposely intending on leading them to believe otherwise in some subtle manner (because you know, deceptive humans). However, he had begun to reconsider he was wrong, and realized that perhaps in his initial anger he hadn't thought that indeed that it was more than the show the woman was putting on.

These thoughts swirling in his head, he once again found himself walking around a bit, until he flat out nearly bumps into someone when he rounds a corner, lost in his thoughts, and rights himself quite easily. "...What are you..."

"..."

His words trail off despite the initial surprise. Yes, clearly he should win a medal for his social skills.

Alisha stumbles back, eyes growing wide (she'd been feeling the prickly sensation of someone's gaze on her, but she hadn't expected to flat-out collide with someone). Her surprise is only momentary, at least, and she presses her hand to her chest to calm her heart.

"Forgive me... I was lost in my own thoughts."

"Oh, no!" Alisha instantly holds her hands up, shaking her head quickly to reassure him. "I was heading for the kitchen, but that's hardly a pressing need right now."

No embarrassing stomach rumbling, at least. She'd been looking for a distraction, more than anything.
princessantly: (Too cute to stab you-- no that's a lie)

"Yes, of course." For all of her increasing discomfort that something was going to happen, that someone was watching her, that her princess rank was becoming increasingly important to those around her-- Dhaos isn't someone to fear, she'd felt.

So Alisha nods easily and clasps her hands together behind her back. "Where would you prefer to speak?"

She's pausing to cast a quick thought back to her room - had she tidied it up properly - but really, if he's offering, she might as well just go along with it. Maybe a foolish idea, when paranoia's been ramped up so high lately, but surely a demon lord has nothing to gain from a princess.

So Alisha nods, thoughtfully. "If you're fine with it, then I am also fine with following you and speaking with you in your room."

"... It's been increasingly difficult to sleep." It's a quiet admittance, and a weary one, because Alisha's very much aware that getting enough rest is key to getting through this week-- but with her own doubts refusing to be silenced, it's been almost impossible to pass out without a good hour of tossing and turning first.

"But otherwise, I can't say I've been unwell."

Alisha will opt to stand. Sitting is all well and good, but sitting on a man's bed is like calling back the ghosts of all her royal instructors (none of whom are actually dead) about the dos and don'ts of propriety. So standing politely it is.

"It's true that discussing matters can certainly lessen the weight on one's shoulders..." She glances down at her clasped hands, mulling it over.

"... I suppose I'm just worried that it's not just a matter of simply refusing to kill and hoping everyone else will do the same. I know now that... that isn't the case, not with everyone."

But it won't, she thinks. So far, there are two people dead, and the killer hadn't even managed to succeed and free themselves from this game. Was it even worth the risk, the weight of another person's life? Just dwelling on it makes her feel ill.

But she will sink into that chair.

"So perhaps it's better to not let ourselves be alone for too long... or at least have it be with someone we trust."
