dhaosu: (> thought)
Dhaos endeavored to make sure that not many would be around when he went to go about his own activity with a certain someone. Hence why when he left the school he made sure to check the time somewhere, and decided that it'd be very much okay to try out what he'd be planning to do. He could only hope that the other would be very much receptive or at least a little to it... but he had seen the way this motive had affected others. Hence why he had been so concerned.

This had lead to him knocking gently upon Selena's door, and yes he was a bit hesitant, however it was notably less so than the last time he had visited it. Still, he could only hope for the best and that this would do some good concerning her and possibly just a teensy bit himself as well.

[ Dhaos figured that he may as well do the job of checking in on the other once more, as soon as this appeared, although he wasn't going to necessarily poke around more than usual. So perhaps it was why he suggested to Urashima that they'd meet once more. Instead, however, it appeared in his room, but once again, matters were in strict confidence. ]

...I apologize for the abruptness of my request at a late hour, however, I surmised that it would be good for us to speak once more. Not only just because of what is occurring, although that is part of it. Hopefully, that is an acceptable enough explanation.

Dhaos hailed from the planet of Derris-Kharlan, and specifically was the Prince of a large piece of land called Elusion, which was the largest country on the planet/comet. Also, it was generally a peaceful country, and Dhaos endeavored so it would stay free of conflict. However, one day, a war broke out between two countries near the Kingdom of Elusion--these two countries were called Palace Gudora and Palace Sedamyu. The war escalated to the point where Dhaos sent a messenger to Palace Gudora to stop the war as it was hurting so many innocent people.

Instead, the General (named General Bandi), murders the messenger Dhaos sent, which Bandi's son, Dio, delivered a message from and then continued the war despite Dio suggesting that Palace Gudora would lose. Indeed, Palace Gudora did lose to Palace Sedamyu, and as a result 80 percent of Palace Gudora's population had expired. Dhaos, thinking that the war was ending as a result, immediately sent relief aid to both countries.

However, that was not the end of it, since General Bandi, in his death throes gave a desperate order to his son, Dio, to fire a deadly weapon.

To Dhaos' despair, the only warning he would receive would be the sudden fire of a deadly weapon called the Mana Cannon... which as you can expect was a highly dangerous, volatile weapon that sucked mana up like nobody's business before incinerating whatever was in its path via laser. Anything that did not get hit by the laser was either suffering from some kind of thing similar to radiation poisoning or mana deprivation due to it instantly killing the world's Mana Tree.

Derris-Kharlan and its people, however, needed that tree to live, because unlike on Aselia, they need mana to live and cannot live without it. Not to mention 150, 000 people died from it and there are 1 billion people remaining on the whole land in its entirety, dying slowly from mana deprivation.

Then the court sorceress, Karion, who Dhaos was rather close to, arranged for him to be sent off, along with a few other castors. However, unbeknownst to him, they needed to sacrifice themselves in order for Dhaos to get to Space (and find Aselia with its Mana Tree). So, Dhaos watched them kill themselves, begging them to stop, and screaming at them, but... it was too late. Karion breathed out, 'I will love you always' before she expired.

Then Dhaos arrived on Aselia after finding that there was Mana Tree upon it. He was suffering (and still is) from Mana Deprivation, so he completely fainted after encountering a human girl named Winona, who dragged him all the way back to her place.

At first Dhaos had a few issues with her because he unintentionally talked down to her friends due to his usage of pronouns that did not mix well with someone from Aselia. He was still used to referring to people as 'kisama' which comes across as 'you' in a rude way, but in archaic form it was considered polite. He referred to Winona as (-dono). However, despite that, he became friends with her and possibly her entourage because he even went as far as to help her find the unicorn (they needed to locate it for whatever reason).

During this time, Dhaos is super curious about the things here or there (and it is still a part of his personality but more subdued for obvious reasons).

At some point in time, Dhaos figured out that the Kingdom of Midgards was building a Mana Cannon and at that point he recalled the horros of its usage on his homeworld. Not to mention, due to them researching Magitechnology, it was hindering the growth of a Mana Seed, which is required for Dhaos to take back to Derris-Kharlan to save his people. So, he travels with Winona to Midgards in order to get an audience with the king.

Unfortunately...

Reisen, Captain of the Magitechnology Division intercepts the audience, meeting with Dhaos instead, and instead he realizes a few somethings. One, that if word gets out as to the real effects of the Mana Cannon he will never obtain true 'glory'. Two, he believes Dhaos to be an actual demon and if he frames him he can discredit his word. SO, y'know, he goes ahead and does that.

Only it doesn't stop there. Reisen even sends assassins after Winona (who is under 16 yrs old btw) and they manage to cut off her left arm in the process. So now Dhaos has to deal with every place on Aselia believing him to be a Demon King, attempting to take over Midgards, and not believing his word as his own people slowly die.

Dhaos becomes desperate when he's backed into a corner, and makes a deal with the demons to become their actual Demon King.

BLAH BLAH BLAH

more stuff

- Klarth, a main character, leans eventually that Reisen attacked first, but chooses to ignore it despite the fact a scientist told him because even he wants glory and because Reisen butters him up
