[ Dhaos had a reason for swinging on by, this time, and he thought of the last time that Yoite had visited. Or perhaps now that he's had his mind to clear from the whole mess of events occurring -- regardless he is clutching a single warm item carefully in his hands. So he lightly gives a knock upon Yoite's door. ]

Good evening. [He's more focused on Dhaos than the item in his hands.]
no subject
Good evening. I thought I might as well as share something with you, as thanks for your visit post-trial... and--
[ He rises the cup up a little higher with a small smile, to show the warm lemonade. ]
I happened to remember you have a liking to this drink in particular.

Instantly his face lights up: he can tell from the steam that it's warm, and taking it into his hands only confirms it. For a moment he just closes his eyes, breathing in the scent of the lemons wafting from the lemonade. It reminds him of the cluttered apartment he had called "home" for the past year, and all the memories that go with it.]
Thank you, I... thank you. [ He cracks the tiniest of smiles as he takes a sip, and for once in his life he doesn't try to down it all in one gulp. Something like this should be enjoyed.]
no subject
It is no problem. I am glad to see I have made you so happy.
And if you so wish it, we can talk while you are enjoying your drink.
[ Although about what... they could decide that. ]
no subject
I didn't know you could cook. [ He had never seen Dhaos in the kitchen, but it wasn't a room he frequented often either, as he only walked in there to grab leftovers.]
no subject
Ah... well. I did not exactly cook and it may have involved some magic. As for my skill in cooking, unfortunately I believe anything more than simple may be dubious at best.
[ One time he nearly made a kitchen explode. But that is another tale for another time. #Royalty problems. ]
Do you know of anyone who can, including yourself?
no subject
I can't cook. But Clover can bake. [ The incident from today is still fresh in his mind.]
no subject
[ Dhaos does not... know how to explain this properly, because he is bad at those. But he tried! ]
...That said, did she feed you something?
[ He needs to know if Clover wasn't messing around with his friend and being rude, ok. ]
no subject
She gave me cookies. [ Just going to leave the part out about he how knocked her off a chair and nearly set himself on fire trying to help.]
no subject
[ He doesn't want to be blamed for burning the hotel down. He doesn't mind stepping outside for it, though. He'll wait on Yoite's answer regarding that before he does, though.
As for the other matter... ]
Hm. How kind of her.
no subject
She was making a lot, so she had extra. They were good. [ It's definitely warmed him up to her at least.]
no subject
[ Dhaos began heading towards the door, and back into the hallway. ]
... She didn't make it sound like you were indebted to her because of it, correct?
[ He almost smiled at that. Perhaps Urashima was right after all. ]
no subject
No. But I wouldn't blame her if she did. [Being that he caused her to fall and all.]
no subject
[ He says it lightly enough that it can be taken as a joke. But he doesn't mean it too seriously... after all, it's just cookies.
Regardless, at this time, he comes out of the hotel with the other and makes some space. ]
Also, do make sure you are standing some proper distance away, just in case.
no subject
Okay. [ He steps back a bit, ready for whatever's going to happen. He's not sure what to expect, but he is quite curious.]
no subject
This is the more offensive version. The one where I do not even have to utter a few words is just myself gripping the item and the object being heated up by focusing as if I were to do a less fiery version of the spell.
That one is not as flashy, however.
no subject
So the lesser one you used for the lemonade? [ It's incredibly interesting, and definitively different from controlling the elements in ninjutsu.]
There are ways to control fire in ninjutsu, but they're not that grand. Your spells are powerful. [ He's impressed, just like he was when Vegeta showed his way of controlling ki.]
no subject
[ He nods. ]
I suppose they are, although if they were at their full capacity, it would mean that we could leave. Thank you for your compliment, however.
[ He'd just laser the people who kidnapped him, rip a hole through space and time to travel through space back to his world somehow. Okay maybe not interdimensional travel, but he can dream. ]
That said...is controlling fire well within your scope of abilities as well?
no subject
Ninjutsu is composed of 5 elements: wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. All normal arts fall within the domain of one of the elements and are connected to nature, like the ninjutsu to light wood aflame.
Kira is a forbidden art, and it exists outside of these elements. Forbidden arts draw on the body of the master for results-- some the body, some the brain and so on. [ A beat as he considers whether to elaborate further.] Kira uses my ki, my life force as an attack. It goes against the basic laws of nature and self-conservation. My ties to the elements are mostly broken.
no subject
... I see. So that is why.
[ At this point he supposed saying 'don't use it' is useless and the kid's time seems to already be unfortunate limited (as he already knew), so it goes without saying. He does sigh, though. ]
That said, perhaps we should head back within. The demonstration is enough, I believe. Although, we may continue to speak more about techniques if you would like.
no subject
Though he's not the most socially aware person, he can't help but notice Dhaos' sigh.]
I wanted to learn Kira, no one forced me to. I knew the consequences of it. [ It's his way of saying " don't feel bad for me". His expression is peaceful even.]
no subject
...Somehow, I had a feeling you would say that.
Yet, I simply know and realize that assuming an answer without the full knowledge of every circumstance is unwise. For now, it is what it is, I suppose...
[ Dhaos begins to step back into the hotel. He is not willing to dwell on the subject and does not wish to. ]
That said, I presume you have heard of time-travel, correct?
no subject
I told you earlier this week, I don't regret anything I've done. [ Which is why the motive for him falls flat this week-- what he wanted to fix wasn't a mistake he had control over.
The following question makes him pause a bit, but he keeps instep.]
In a way. There's an art which is capable of doing anything. [ Which included time travel, naturally.]
